What a night with 32cars starting the first heat of the Manawatu stockcar champs and 12 wellington cars turning up there was allways going to be action.The palmy boys were going to have there work cut out to keep the title in the manawatu for another year with the wellington cars showing good pace and bumper work in the first heat.But with the likes of 71p justin cunningham,99p ron tye,557p darrell wallace,67p alec wilson,38p neil coley and many others no way was the title going any where.with all the action going on 34p robert mason came through to take the win and his first Manawatu title,well done to him he come's back week after week and race's hard out.2nd place went to 92p brett LIoyd who won the run off with 72p tony norman who was driving george frear's car for the night.
