2008 Palmerston North Stockcar Review

7p Cameron Renwick,ex ministock driver got strait into the action and had a rollover on the final night

21p Stu Smith don't know much about this driver but always where the action is

22p Fred Hoult new car this season(ex 84p)another driver who seem's to be in the wars abit,car can be quick

31p Gary Davis started the season well,had motor trouble at the NZ's,hard and fast driver

32p George Frear another hard charger,car is for sale

38p Neil Coley is another driver who comes back week after week,new car on the way for next season

41p Grant Walsh,harris built car and has showen some good speed,best looking stockcar in palmy

53p Todd O'Donnell had a good start to the season,did teams race and was out for awhile,fast and strong car,new one on the way for next season

64p Steve Forrest done only the last few meetings

72p Tony Norman this guy is what stockcars are all about,not the best car but comes back week after week for more

89p Robert Anderson another battler,a few times he seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time

99p Ron Tye this car is fast at times but ron do's not race he hit's,real crowd pleaser

245p Steve Thompsen another driver who just keeps coming back for more

669p Brendon Tye late stater for the season but was allways in the action

PUMAS

AFTER AN EARLY SEASON TEAMS RACE AGAINST THE WELLINGTON YOUNG GUNS WHICH WAS A GOOD WIN IN THE END AND MAKING THE SEMI-FINALS FOR THE TEAMS CHAMPS THINGS LOOKED GOOD FOR THE PUMAS BUT IT ALL CAME UNDONE AND THE TEAMS CHAMP TITLE SLIPPED AWAY AGAIN.ONE WEEK AFTER THE TEAMS CHAMPS THE PUMAS WON A FOUR WAY TEAMS MEETING IN PALMY WITH SOME VERY GOOD AND HARD TEAMS RACES

ONLY THREE RACES FOR THE STEELERS THIS SEASON FOR TWO WIN'S AND ONE LOSS.HOPEFULLY MORE RACE'S FOR THE STEELERS NEXT SEASON.
