248 Global Challenge 2007

hi there,on sunday was the 248 global challenge at the palmerston north speedway, watching 35 superstocks in full flight is a sight to behold.86p was racing on sunday and in the 2nd race dwayne got a very good 3rd placing from some exellent drivng.in the feature race 86p lead for four laps before hitting 71p and spinning out and finished down the placing's.

248's and some very fast and hard racing was seen with cars rolling, spinning,up the wall and side way's,58p peter bengston came out the winner with some clever and skillfull driving missing most of the carnage that was going on.the driver that most impressed me was 46usa ricky logan who showed some good speed and never backed down.with 3 tanks racing and two of them in attack mode the last heat was all action with 53p kevin roberts putting in some good hit's.the 56v tank of kerry podjursky allso hitting anything,so that leave's one tank left of scott miers and he raced well all night to finish 2nd over all.the highest placed oversea's driver was 391uk andy smith in 10th place.all in all it was a very good meeting i even watched the minisprint's.

cheers wal 86p crew
