Wellington Stockcar Champs 26/12/06
Went to the wellington stockcar champs and watched some good stockcar racing,29 cars took part in heat1 with action from the start ,cars spinning and up the wall in the first few laps,31p gary davis had a great start by coming 2nd,19w noel bewley won the 1st heat but the car went on the trailer with engine troubles,some of the locals seemed more interested in taking each other out than the vistors,heat2 had a few cars missing but the action was just as good with 12w simon hendry in the thick of it at pit corner,91w kyle lane had the win in this heat and 31p came in 3rd
heat 3 and 91w and 31p were tied on points but the other welly cars were not going to let there champs go to the vistors and 31p was put up the wall in the first half of the race,32p george frear was the only palmy car running at the end,46w allen levien won heat3 and with 91w,2nzw and 11w all having good placings the wellington stockcar champs stayed in welly.
