MANAWATU STEELERS VS STRATFORD STORMERS

A very hot afternoon was in store for us when we got to stratford and on the track aswell as the steelers and stormers were racing for the Albie Gordge trophy for the first time.

The teams race started well for the steelers as they had 557p and 9p out in front with a couple of stormers cars chasing,but as the laps went by the stormers started to lose cars and at the end only had one going,but the race was first across the line and 9p Gareth Edwards was that car and the steelers came home for the win with 3 cars mobile.

This was a very brutal teams race with heaps of damage to both teams and only 3 cars from each team made it out for the other stockcar races.

Well done to both teams though and i hope there are many more great battles between these two teams.

The rest of the stockcar races were very entertaing with plenty of action.

It was my first visit to stratford this season and had a great time,thanks to the knights who gave us a ride from patea to stratford and back thanks heaps guys.
