PALMERSTON NORTH SPEEDWAY

 MANAWATU SUPERSTOCK CHAMPS 29-11-08

What a great night's racing at the Robertson Holden Speedway,The Manawatu Superstock champs was the main feature of the night and they did not disapoint with 25 car's starting the first heat.

A lot of pushing and shoving in this heat as most cars went for the points and 94p Roydon Collingwood came out on top with a good win from 591p Wayne Hemi Second and 77p Wayne Norris third

Much of the same in the next heat, but the local driver's let 5g Joe Faram take the win in this one,591p did well from the back of the grid to come in third and lead on points going in to the last heat.

With 77p not in the picture for the title he made sure that 5g was not walking away with the silver ware.for most of this race he slowed the 5g car down enough to not feature in the final standings.591p got a flat tyre near the end of the race but had enough points to tie with 19c Malcom Ngatai for second.591p cound not make 2nd and 3rd place runoff and 19c was 2nd in the champs.

But the night belonged to 10p Peter Rees who drove well in every race and for a change stayed out of trouble to pick up his first Manawatu superstock title, welldone Peter.
