THE RON TYE SHOW AND THE MANAWATU YOUTH
MINISTOCK CHAMPS 8-11-08

As the title says,99p Ron Tye was in fine form with walling,spinning and blocking cars in every race he was in,With the picking of a Palmy team up for grabs 3-4 car's were doing plenty to impress the selectors and made for great stockcar action in the first two races but with all the hits going on the feature race was a bit tame from the first two.

Superstocks saw 591p Wayne Hemi make his first run of the season at Palmy and showed good speed in the Red Waka.66p Tony Whittaker was in a playfull mood and spun out 7p Shane Penn and had a go at the Waka aswell.

The Manawatu Youth Ministock champs was on aswell and with 35-36 cars racing it made for some close racing at times.The locals let the silverware slip away and 59w Jayden Musgrove took out first place with some slick driving.

Another real cold night but with all the on track action it soon warmed you up,a big thumbs up to all the drivers for making it a real good night of stockcar action.
