Panthers vs Tigers

Saturday night saw the nelson tigers come to town to take on the Panthers for the Challenge Cup which the Panthers have never won in its 8year history.Both teams fielded top lineup's but this year the panthers were to strong and had the race won with 2-3 laps to go with excellant blocking by 9p shane penn and 7p peter bengston.Some other people have thought the race was boring-dull but it was not with the panthers getting the early lead you can never count the tigers out, it only needed 2nz peter rees(he was the runner) to get spun and the tigers would have had the lead,but the panthers blockers did their job well.any way thats my view.
