What can i say with only 19 car's in the pit's for the Robin Pratt Memorial i did'nt expect much action, but with 1nz/p Peter Rees blowing his gear box in the 1st heat he went into attack mode in the other 2 heat's.The 1st heat was won by 97p Graeme Ward but was stopped in the 2nd heat by 1nz/p. Heat 2 was taken out by 84p Kevin Large and 61p Mike Dunn had finished both heat's on the lead lap and scored some good point's.Final heat and 1nz/p Rees was on pole,31p Gary Davis,77p Wayne Norris and 84p Kevin Large were the leading the point's table,When the race started Rees went on the attack first was 77p but he missed him then 99p Scott McInosh was put up the wall when he came down 31p,61p got caught up in the action with 31p Gary Davis going to the infield with damage.Rees next attack was on 84p but he got away and 1nz/p was out of the race. The race was won by 17p Shane Simpson ,77p 2nd and 61p 3rd.
77p Wayne Norris was 1st
84p Kevin Large was 2nd
61p Mike Dunn was 3rd .This was a great result for Mike who has been racing for about 4 years now in a car that some would call rather b-grade but Mike keeps battling on and this is what make's stockcar racing great well done Mike and the other place getter's.
